General Terms and Conditions

(GTC) of GreenNest s.r.o. for the Certification Service Contract

I. Introductory Provisions

  1. The Client is the operator of an accommodation facility and a provider of services related to accommodation (the “Hotel”).
  2. The Provider evaluates hotel operations in terms of environmental impact and prepares improvement recommendations to support sustainable development.
  3. The Provider undertakes to perform the Work at its own cost and risk; the Client agrees to accept and pay for the Work.
  4. The Work means evaluating the hotel’s ecological level and environmental impact, including the issuance of a certificate or recommendations for improvement.

II. Contract Conclusion and Execution of the Work

  1. The contract is concluded when a signed copy is sent to the Provider’s email.
  2. The Provider issues an invoice with 14-day maturity as a partial payment.
  3. Upon payment, the Provider sends access credentials to its website to complete the certification questionnaire.
  4. The questionnaire includes sections such as energy, waste, and requires documentation for assessment.
  5. The Work will be completed within 60 days from full questionnaire completion.

III. Certification

  1. All 11 criteria must be fulfilled, and the hotel must score at least 50%:
    • Green – 50 to 70%
    • Greener – 70 to 90%
    • Greenest – over 90%
  2. If the minimum is not met, the Provider gives recommendations and a deadline for improvement.
  3. The certificate is valid for 1 year and may be renewed. A new certification is required for renewal.
  4. The contract renews automatically unless the Client opts out at least 3 months before expiry. After payment, the Provider conducts a supplementary certification.

IV. Price

  1. The fee is EUR 11,490 incl. VAT. The final price is invoiced after work completion (minus the advance).
  2. Renewal fee: 9,490 EUR incl. VAT.
  3. If minimum criteria are not met, improvements may be implemented within 180 days. Reassessment is included in the fee.

V. Final Provisions

  1. These GTC are valid from contract conclusion and apply for one year from certificate issuance.
  2. Matters not covered are governed by Czech Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code.
  3. The Client confirms they have read and understood these GTC.
